Mission of the Committee
A Strategic Planning Committee has been formed to address the needs of our school community and for our upcoming 2008-2009 accreditation visit. This group has come together to look critically at what we are doing well, what we need to improve, and where we can go for the future. The strategic planning committeesˇ¦ objective is to establish a five-year plan for our school community by August 1, 2008 that addresses five major areas: curriculum, development, facilities, finance, and marketing. This five-year plan will become a living document and assessed with all shareholders of our community on an annual basis.
The development of the five-year plan is a team effort. The makeup of the committee consists of administration, teachers, School Advisory Council members, and parent volunteers from a wide variety of grade levels. The members of the committee act in an advisory role to the school administration. These goals will insure that all local policies are in accord with the intent and spirit of the policies established for the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Portland.
