About Us

Philosophy

St. John Fisher is a Catholic school which strives to enable the child to develop as a whole person: spiritually, morally, academically, socially, physically and culturally. Its purpose is to provide a quality, student-centered education to the youth of our parish, as well as to others in the community who attend.

We value the role of the family as the primary educators of their children in partnership with the school and church community. The message of our Lord Jesus Christ as believed and communicated by the Catholic church is the underlying principle upon which all aspects of school life are based. We believe that worship is a natural response to our faith, as well as a necessary means of developing Christian community. We recognize that service to others is an integral part of Christ's message of respect, helpfulness, kindness and giving. We foster in our students a sense of responsibility toward our school, parish, civic and world communities in order to prepare them to take a Christ-like role in society.

The faculty and administration of St. John Fisher School encourage all of our students to recognize, develop and use their God-given gifts. Through high academic standards we inspire in them a desire to become independent, life-long learners. We believe in fostering an environment which promotes a sense of personal integrity, character and responsibility.
