Tomorrow is the end of the second trimester…this
year has sure seemed to fly by!
After our students leave at noon, our teachers will be joining
forces with the faculty and staff from Holy
Trinity
Catholic
School.
We will be hearing a presentation from Heidi Hanson, a TAG
specialist from the
Beaverton
School District, on how to
continue to differentiate instruction in our classroom to assist all
learners.
On Sunday evening from 3:00-7:00, you won’t want to
miss the delicious Spaghetti Dinner!
Presale tickets can be purchased through the office tomorrow.
You can also purchase tickets at the door and don’t forget they
offer take-out too! Thanks
to all our volunteers who make this FUNraiser such a great time for all!
On Tuesday we will have our March PTC meeting.
Agenda items for the meeting include the 2010-2011 academic year
budget, Jog-A-Thon kick off, Auction 2010 highlights, the introduction
of our new Youth Mass at SJF, and recaps from our online auction and
Spaghetti Dinner. We will
have light snacks and drinks beginning at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting will
begin promptly at 6:30.
Babysitting will be provided by Vermont Hills Family Life.
See you there!
Please see the attachment to this weeks SAM for a

students host a Youth Mass at the 11:00 Mass once each month.

join us. Be a part of the
music ministry at the Youth Mass with Dan Scott and the choral ensemble!

AMERICAN HISTORY COMES TO LIFE
The 8th grade would like to invite all students,
families, and friends to our production of American History: Words
that Marked the Times to be performed on the night of the Social
Studies Fair (March 17 @ 6:30). Essentially, the 8th grade has put
together a production based around 13 key American Speeches throughout
our nation's history. Come and hear the famous words of Lincoln,
FDR, JFK, and many more. It will be held in the cafeteria.
If you are in the building already, feel free to drop in at any point
during the night. Stay for a few speeches or catch the entire
show. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
CLASS OF
THE MONTH
The Class of
the Month project this month is the Sunshine Division. We are
having a canned fruit food drive. Students should bring canned
fruit to their classrooms and the class with the most at the end of the
month will receive an ice cream party! The Sunshine Division is
the only 24/7 direct emergency food service provider in Portland, and works in
partnership with St. Vincent de Paul. If you'd like to bring in
additional non-perishable food, it's always welcome, but won't count for
the contest. Let's fill up those barrels for families in need in Portland.
