Curriculum

St. John Fisher School offers...

... a strong core curriculum that combines both traditional and progressive methodologies.

... a full-day Kindergarten that operates with excellent facilities, resources, and staff.

... Spanish instruction for students in grades six through eight.

... a Physical Education program that exposes students to a variety of activities and sports. Facilities include a regulation-size gymnasium and 73,000 square foot athletic field, in addition to creative play structures and recess equipment.

... a Music Education program for all students. In addition, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Band classes are offered in grades four through eight. Lower grades participate in a December music program and upper grades put on a spring musical.

... a Middle School Program in grades six through eight that is departmentalized and actively seeks to prepare its students for the challenges and opportunities of high school.

... a state-of-the-art technology lab with additional workstations in the library media center as well as each classroom. An extensive CD-ROM inventory is available for student and staff usage.

... Several extracurricular programs, including Student Council, Yearbook, Robotics Club, SJF Peacekeepers, Service Ministry, Honor Society, and CYO Sports.
